Aesthetic Botox and Dysport and other neurotoxins can be used to treat a variety of areas on the face and neck to reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and to prevent future lines from forming. Common areas treated with Neurotoxins include:
Forehead Lines: Horizontal lines across the forehead caused by raising the eyebrows.
Glabellar Lines: The "11" lines or frown lines between the eyebrows.
Crow's Feet: Fine lines around the outer corners of the eyes, often caused by smiling or squinting.
Bunny Lines: Wrinkles on the sides of the nose when smiling or scrunching the nose.
Lip Lines: Vertical lines around the mouth, often called smoker’s lines.
Chin Dimples: Botox can smooth a dimpled or puckered chin.
Jawline/ Masseter: To slim the face or reduce clenching and teeth grinding.
Neck Bands: Vertical bands in the neck, also known as platysmal bands.

Botox typically lasts 3 to 4 months, but individual results may vary depending on factors like metabolism, muscle activity, and the treatment area. Some people may experience results lasting up to 6 months, while others might see the effects start to diminish after 2 months.
Botox injections are generally not considered painful. The needles used are very fine, and most patients report feeling only a slight pinch or pressure at the injection site. Some providers may offer numbing cream or ice to minimize discomfort.
How long does Botox take to work?
Tox typically starts working within 3 to 5 days, but full results can take up to 7 to 14 days. It's important to give the treatment time to take full effect before assessing the final outcome.
How much Tox will I need?
The amount of Botox you will need depends on several factors, including the areas being treated, the severity of the wrinkles, and your personal goals.
Tox is measured in units, and different areas of the face typically require different amounts.
Here’s a general guide:
Forehead lines: 10-20 units
Glabellar lines (frown lines between the eyebrows): 20-30 units
Crow’s feet (around the eyes): 10-15 units per side
Bunny lines (nose wrinkles): 5-10 unitsLip lines (smoker’s lines): 4-8 units
Chin dimpling: 5-10 unitsJawline (masseter muscle for slimming): 20-30 units per side
Neck bands (platysmal bands): 25-50 units
